Carten sign up to SDD Compatible™ Initiative
Carten is proud to announce that we have now signed up to SDD Compatible™ initiative.
Carten, have joined the SDD Compatible™ initiative, recognising compatibility with SDD™ assemblies.
Carten SDD Compatible™ valves are designed for compatibility to the SDD™ parts and assemblies industry standard. By choosing Carten's SDD Compatible™ valves, that will match the SDD™ bags, tubing manifolds and mixers. This is especially useful, given the long lead-times in the development, validation and manufacture of some single-use disposables.“Standardisation has been at the forefront of Carten’s products, processes, and capabilities in the bioprocessing market for several years now, making our SUT product series collaboration with PM Group on SDD Compatible a perfect fit.
Carten’s open architecture design principle within our patented pinch valve means that our valves can be used with any brand or material compound on the market. Just two valve footprint sizes can cover all industry tubing (ID, WT), including high pressure (braided tubing, high durometer) and proportional control options available from the same pinch valve series through the change of a simple insert kit.The single-use industry urgently requires standardisation across product brands and technologies, making Carten an ideal selection for an SDD compatible supplier’’said Rebecca Caulfield, Commercial Director, Carten.
